The Social Sciences Coordination Research Center was established in October 2023 with the aim of promoting publication activity within the Faculty of Economics and providing methodological support for the publication of scientific papers. This service assists in developing the methodological section of articles, selecting and implementing methodologies. To utilize this support, a form must be filled out and sent to kutataskoordinacio@econ.unideb.hu. The research group members will review the research objectives, data, applicable methodological requirements, and the complexity of the methods, then make recommendations for further investigations. This process can also start with a preliminary consultation in addition to the form submission. The research group members can only provide supportive work for the preparation of publications classified as Q1 and Q2 according to the SJR, which are considered for university indicators. If there are not enough requests submitted to the research group, the members may independently carry out publication activities within the faculty on their own initiative, but exclusively for publications in Q1 and Q2 SJR-rated journals. The research group operates under the direct supervision of the dean, coordinated by the appointed leader of the research group, who defines the tasks and ensures the resources.
