Institute of World Economy and International Relations

In its education and research profile, the Institute focuses on world economic and international business processes, integration, and within this on European Union studies and policies, and also on economic studies and international knowledge of law.
Our organisational unit is present in every programme of the Faculty of Economics and Business starting from higher-educational vocational training through BSc training to MSc training with basic-, curricular-, special-, and optional subjects. Our colleagues take an active part both in the Hungarian and English-language teaching programmes, and we also have contacts with several other faculties at the university. The research results of the Institute are continuously published and we are trying to contribute to attracting more capital to the town and the city alike. We are responsible for the BSc programme and training in International Economics and the Hungarian and English language MA trainings in International Economics and Business. Our objective is to train professionals who are able to make responsible decisions and do analytical work according to their education level at the organisations of both the civil and public spheres possessing high-level legal knowledge, and who know and see through the most important world economic and regional processes and their impacts.
